RIPSAW RECORDS (www.ripsawrecords.com) announces that SIRIUSXM (www.siriusxm.com) will begin airing THE HOT ROD FARMER’s new show “Farm Machinery Digest Radio” starting Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. ET, re-airing it again on Sunday, January 3rd at 6:00 p.m. ET.  The show uses TEX RUBINOWITZ’s iconic recording of his self-penned “HOT ROD MAN” as a theme intro to the “Toolbox Test” portion of each show.  RIPSAW released the recording as a 45 rpm record in January 1980 (Ripsaw 214).  SIRIUSXM will continue to air a new episode of the show each week at those same time slots.

“Farm Machinery Digest Radio” provides an easy way for farmers to learn how to better use and preserve their machinery to keep more of their income in their own pockets.  Each show has a dedicated machinery related topic delivered in an easy to understand and entertaining format, including a Toolbox Test quiz and a Special Delivery Letter with a listener’s question.

The “IDLE CHATTER” podcast which has listeners in 67 countries will continue every Wednesday on the FARM MACHINERY DIGEST website (“Where Steel and Soil Meet”) (www.farmmachinerydigest.com) as well as being on iHeart Radio (https://www.iheart.com/podcast/269-idle-chatter-hot-rod-farme-74306992/) and other popular podcast hosting sites, e.g., Google (https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFybW1hY2hpbmVyeWRpZ2VzdC5jb20vZmVlZC9wb2RjYXN0Lw),  It is a grease under your fingernails, no nonsense podcast dedicated to the education and success of American agriculture.

The HOT ROD FARMER, RAY BOHACZ, is a technical writer in both the automotive and agriculture industries.  He has been featured in more than 44 different magazine titles and has had over 3,500 technical articles published, authored three books, and has delivered countless seminars.  He writes every month for SUCCESSFUL FARMING (www.agriculture.com) and appears frequently on the magazine’s hit TV show as THE ENGINE MAN.  He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Society of Materials, the International Motor Press Association, the Farm Bureau, and the Pennsylvania No-Till Association.  Most importantly, he is a farmer operating a small fresh-market sweet corn farm on the Warren County, New Jersey land his family has owned since 1954.  RAY got his HOT ROD FARMER moniker from his building drag race engines for many years.
