Martí Brom

Martí, internationally acclaimed for her hard-driving rockabilly and sultry traditional country vocals, recorded her “Not For Nothin’” album in 2010 (Ripsaw 223). Known for her riveting onstage delivery of an original and classic songbook grounded in the edges of traditional American country, rockabilly, and R & B styles, Martí has won and been nominated for numerous roots music awards, including the Ameripolitan Music Award (2016 Rockabilly Female) and the Washington Area Music Association’s 2010 Roots Rock Artist, Recording of the Year, and Roots Rock Recording, The New York Press called her recording of “Blue Tattoo” from her 1999 “Snake Ranch” CD (Goofin’ 6701) “the best country song you will hear this year.” Her latest recording is “Midnight Bus” released by Sweden’s Enviken Records in late 2019.
